Unlike a photo, a drawing can expose beautiful and hidden parts of a house, re-construct period features and emphasise important elements. As seen in this portrait…now revelled from behind the hedge.

This beautiful house has so many wonderful angles, it was hard to choose which ones to draw. Eventually we decided on these three, a summer, spring and winter view. Tr

y and figure out which one is which...(-:
Just completed a boat portrait. It was a birthday surprise a client ordered for her partner. Water reflections are powerful with pencil smudging. It gives it a majestic touch.
Last week I exhibited my work at the Gold Cup Final Polo show
at Cowdry, Surry. I have never seen so many posh people in one place.
There were about 15,000 people there, lots of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars and I counted 28 private helicopters…! Apart for the rain, it was a great show for me.
Just came back from the biggest show I attend: The Hampton Court Flower Show in the Country Living Marquee. It is a great show and well worth the hard work...but I am so tiered now, I just want to stay in bed. More than 250,000 people visit the show for 7 days a week until 7:30PM every day. I was talking to people all the time and its just drains your energy after a few days. Thank good I had my loving wife with me most of the time...I got a lot of drawing done there too.
I'm going to sleep now. Good night.
